Abstract : Researchers and students from Japan and the UK will present the progress, future direction, and contributions to capacity building in disaster risk reduction as part of the collaboration between Tohoku University and the University of London under the MEXT “Inter-University Exchange Project.”

Abstract : The Disaster Resilience Co-Creation Center, Tohoku University will introduce its initiatives on “preparedness” and “recovery” for large-scale disasters. This project aims to enhance collaboration between disaster risk reduction and the health sector, following the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and a whole-of-society approach.
